Welcome to our blog!
Gene and i met at the Vancouver Flea Market (of all places i know) in late 1999. He a vendor, me a student on the brink of graduating high school. i pursued him for a few months (it was love-at-first-sight), he finally clued in on one Canada Day (our first date), we fell in love, i graduated nursing school, had fun and then we got married in 2008. we live in (east) Vancouver, BC!

i started this blog to chronicle some musings, but this blog changed direction when we finally decided to have kids and got pregnant in 2011 and had a baby in 2012.
This blog will chronicle my/our journey into discovering pregnancy 2011, our baby and life 2012 and beyond! As of February 2013, my mat leave will have ended and husband waved goodbye to employment to become a stay at home dad.
