Photos of Cancun Part I

hello! 

we made it back from our trip safe and sound with awesome tans and no extra grey hairs to add to the collection! Max was a dream not only during the plane ride but the entire trip from new environment, new foods, new time zone, and new experiences…i am so proud of that little man! the day prior to departure we skipped the nap and went to bed at 7pm for our 0630am flight. Max was pleasantly entertained by the plane ride and was content with watching whatever cartoons on the TV, eating the snacks from home. or having a solid 2.5 hour nap. the only blip en route to our hotel was a poop at the Mexican customs line up (2 hour long line up might i add) and Max was having a minor meltdown as he doesn't like being soiled. however, thanks to gracious passengers who i think didn't mind, i just changed the diaper on the spot and all was well thereafter.

when we initially planned this trip, it was a toss up between Hawaii and Cancun. the deciding factor was essentially how we can all eat well without being stressed about it, and an all inclusive was our answer...we stayed at Paradisus Cancun.

^^ public transit came every 3-5 minutes and it cost less than a dollar per person, kids rode free ^^

^^ our first couple of days were marked by RAIN! we made the most of it though by doing our shopping. by and large it was a blessing in disguise or we would have never left the beach and got anything done around town ^^

^^ our nightly entertainment was a blast! the talents varied from michael jackson, to disco, to rhianna, to classical guitar and some traditional spanish dance. to this day Max still asks for "michael jackson!"
