im in some major panic mode right now because i just plugged in my SD card and
all my pictures are gone. 
waaahhhhh....!!

did i use the SD card as a source to keep pics thinking this will never happen? yes
were those pics saved anywhere else but my sd card? no
did i have plenty of pics in that sd card? yes

if anyone has a program that successfully recovered pics please email/message me and let me know!
lesson learned: but an external hard drive and download pics.
